 A beginner or you can say

when a new blogger starts blogging

his main objective is to make money from his blog

Maybe some people do it for passion

to develop their skills

or do it for personal branding

But 99% of people want to earn money from their  blog

and there is always a doubt in their mind, which is very important to clear

That is

how much money can be made from how many pageviews

If I define this question better

then we can say how much money we can earn from our blog with every  1000 pageviews

If you understand the answer to this question

then it will be easy for you to do blogging and earn money from blogging

But, this is a complicated question

and it is not so easy to understand

Let's see a real example

As I gave an example  in my previous video

"How to start blogging in 2022"

of a Flippa website, this JoyceNail site

earns 10,000 dollars every month with just 6000 monthly visits

And if anyone lists a site on Flippa, then Flippa verifies every claim a site makes

Anothe  r example is

my own Indian site which gets 70,000 organic traffic monthly

but monthly earning is less than $100

I will tell you about it later in this video

This means that it may happen

there are 10 people - and every person has a blog, and they  all receive 1000 views daily/monthly

but the earnings of all these people can be totally different

It can also happen

the highest earner's income can be up to 10 times or 20 times the lowest earner.

Many people think, there are only two factors that are important

first - "Google Adsense vs Affiliate Marketing"

and second - "India vs USA"

But it is not like that

there are many other factors as well

Let's go through the factors

1. Niche

2. Target country

3. Method of monetization

4. Optimization of the method of monetization

5. Authority of the website

In the last 12 years, I have worked in multiple niches

targeting different countries and tried multiple income sources on my blogs

And on the basis  of this experience

I can give you a fair idea of

ch money you can earn from your blogs when you start your blog befor

 understanding each factor, let me give you the screenshots of 3 AdSense accounts Earni

g 1000 views in Adsense means Page RPM (revenue per  1000 impressions)

this is first, this is second, and this is third

You must have understood how much difference there can be in the earning of RPM

and we have to understand this - how?

Let's start with the first factor, and that is

Niche

The Niche selection is the most important in 2022

Your Niche decides how much you will earn from your blogs for every 1000 views

Many people would think that the country is more important

which means that if it  has traffic from United States, then earnings will be very high

but I have experienced

there are various niches which give more income in India as compared to the USA

whether you use Google Adsense or any other way

But yes, there are 30% to 40%  Niches in India - where CPC and CTC (so RPM) are very less

to experience this, I made one experimental website

in which I chose a general Niche

of this website is 4000, and it receives RPM or around $1

Actually, I have optimized it properly;  otherwise, it’s RPM was less than 50 cents ($0.5)

It means that you will earn 50 cents per 1000 views

which means RPM 50 cents.  if I calculate it in Indian rupees, then max 40/-

In the second example let me give an example of one of my student

who started a blog on personal finance and the target was India

You can see the Page RPM is more than $12

That  means for every 1000 views;  he is earning US $12 (Rs. 900/-)

In the same way, I have recently started a US-based niche website

Mostly I target affiliate products on this site with few AdSense ads

You can see the RPM

So whenever you start a blog

the most important thing is to focus on your Niche

The Niche should be such that it is profitable for the long term

Target country

the culture, and the things related to India

If English seems to be difficult, then you can create a blog in Hindi or even in a regional language

because their market is also huge

but apart from India

there are countries where there is a lot of potential

The United Stated is at the top of the list

You will many people who are living in India but they target USA from their blog

One of the best examples is

iGeeksBlog, whose founder Mr Jignesh was invited to my channel for an interview

Or Stylecraze

There are  many Indian bloggers whose blog's major traffic is USA

and both the traffic and earnings are in a million

I have 2-3 blogs of my own where major traffic comes from the USA

In on one of the blog, 50% of the traffic comes from the  USA

in another blog, almost 70% of the traffic comes from the USA, and remaining traffic from other countries

After my experience with similar blogs and doing my own research on various websites on the internbet

I can say the

highest CTC (or RPM) comes from  the USA

If your niche is targeted and has many advertisers

then you can get $15 to $40 AdSense RPM

And if I talk about affiliate

then you can get a conversion rate of 0.5% to 2%

And your affiliate's income will depend on these factors

How effectively  you added your affiliate link in the post?

Out of 1000 views, how many views come on those posts which have affiliate links?

What is the average price of the affiliate product you are promoting?

How convincing is your post for the readers to make a purchase?

Apart from India and USA, we have other countries as well

from where there is good income on 1000 views

like Canada, Australia, Bangladesh, Philippines, South Africa etc

Surprisingly on one of my blog, Bangladesh has more RPM than India

So this can imitate  the conclusions that

You can target countries other than India and Us

Let's take an example

If I search "make money online" in the Ahrefs tool

then USA has the most searches

But Bangladesh is at number 2, and South Africa is at number 5

It means  that

if you start a blog targeting these countries, you can make a very stable income

According to my research

the competition is not high in these countries

If you want to go 1 step further, you can target non-English countries as well

Like if I  talk about Germany

then here you can see

these are long-tail keywords that do not have much competition

you can check their volume

Method of monetization

There are various niches in India where you can not use any other method than Google  AdSense to make money from your blog

Examples like events, news sites, recruitment, planning, or similar niches

But some niches have a lot of potentials

And that means, apart from Adsense, you can earn in many ways from a single blog

like affiliate marketing

This means, you can promote affiliate programs along with Adsense

But if there is good profit in affiliate programs

then you can remove AdSense and focus on affiliate programs only

Some bloggers do not even know that there is more potential in their Niche than using just AdSense

Like  , there is a post on your blog where you have mentioned about a product or service and it receives good traffic

now if you do a good research, you may find an affiliate programs for that product but you don't have idea about it and you  are leaving a lot of money on the table

This has happened to me

One of the post on my blog where I have mentioned about some product has received sudden traffic growth

I had no idea if the product I was talking about in  that article had any affiliate program

I applied for the affiliate program, added the link in the post and then

WOW!

I was getting $300 to $350 extra every month from that affiliate product

So you have to identify your high traffic posts and check Affiliate Opportunities

Apart from this, you can also accept sponsored posts on your website.

make sure you are not accepting spammy posts

Talking about Methods of Monetization, you can try many ways

AdSense

Affiliate programs

Ad networks

If Adsense is not approved, then there are other networks

like ezoic, adsterra, mediavine

I have worked with all of them, and  their earnings are also fine if you compare with Adsense

Sponsored posts

Sell your own product

This method is the most profitable, but for that, you should have a product

and niche of your blog should be related to that product

So you need to understand your niche

which country to target, how to monetise, etc.

Optimization of the method of monetization

Whatever method you use to make money from your blog

if you don't optimize it properly, then you will not be able to use the full  potential of your blog

For example

You are using Adsense on your blog, and have you added 3-4 ads and your CTR is close to 2%

If You Optimize ads properly and try to experiment to understand which ad placement get highest CTR

which types of  content get high CTR or CPC, and implement on your blog

you will be able to increase CTR to 3% or 4% and even increase the CPC

similarly There are many tricks to grow CPC

So where you were getting $2 dollars Page RPM, that means  earnings from 1000 views

you get $4 Page RPM

and if it was $5 dollars, you can increase to $10 or more

In the same way, you can experiment with affiliate posts

If you use the CTA button instead of the links, then there will be more conversion

Not only that, you can increase  conversion by upodating the article and making it more convincing

similarly, you can optimize other monetization methods and multiply your blog income

Authority of the website

Maybe you target content with high CPC keywords

and your website also receive traffic

but when you check your Adsense earning, neither  the CTR is good nor the CPC

There are several reasons for this to happen

Age of your Website

Content Quality

Authority of your Website

Bounce Rate

If you've just launched a new website and are getting income on 1000 views

so over time, as the traffic  of the website increases, your RPM will also improve

You must be ready with a proper plan before you start blogging

What will be your Niche, what will be the target country, or how will you monetize

You might not see results for some time

or it  may happen, you will get failure with your first or second blog

but if you keep working consistently and understand your mistake

then blogging and affiliate marketing can give you a good s  table income in the future
